Level gauge glass

Level gauge glass is a kind of glass made of heat-resistant glass, tempered, with high temperature resistance, tensile strength and chemical stability of glass, mainly used to observe the level of boiler or pressure vessel.

Because of the high temperature and high pressure liquid corrosion performance is large, so the glass used in the boiler or pressure vessel level gauge must be selected with high strength, high temperature resistance, cold and hot impact resistance, good chemical stability of glass to meet the requirements. Because of the high demand for strength, we need to toughen the glass to enhance its strength.

Level gauge glass can be divided into flat and groove, groove can be divided into single groove and three line four groove type. By installing these glasses in the reserved viewing holes of boilers or pressure vessels and other tanks, we can observe and monitor the level of liquid level through them.

Level gauge glass classification:

1, flat glass plate (flat perspective glass, plane type) : it has smooth observation surface and sealing surface. Used for pressure vessels with pressure not higher than 6.4Mpa.

2. Slotted glass plate (slotted) : it has a smooth observation surface, its back is a sealing surface, with a plurality of slotted edges, for pressure vessels not higher than 4.0mpa use.

2, color: glass plate color should be colorless transparent or slightly light yellow or light green.

Alkali resistance: GB6580 -- class 2;

Thermal shock temperature: the thermal shock temperature of the glass plate of the level gauge should be greater than 240 ° C
